The Realist


Offer the Romantic love
Offer true love a simple dove
Offer some money to the poor
Offer peace after war
Offer a mirror to the vain
Offer your weakness to your bane
Offer all what they desire
Watch the world be burned by fire

The wicked, the bleeding, the dying, the dead
Everyone may lose their head
Grant some wishes to the poor
Grant some wishes during war
Pray long and hard and you'll see the sun
You may even live to see the ONE
Grant to all what they desire
Watch the world be burned by fire

After all is said and done
What could be left but the sun
Nothing left but ash and rubble
Children of turmoil and trouble
None are left to make anew
The seas are bloodied none are blue
Offer all what they desire
Watch the world be burned by fire
