Strong, a die hard, and inteligant she won't give the fight up easily. She's a bold woman who isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, even if it's a little hurtful sometimes.

History: In the living world she had a normal life, friends, a family that loved her and all the things she wanted. But, her father was a nutorious drinker and would come home half out of his mind. This would soon become a VERY bad thing. On the eve of her 12'th birthday, her father had come home drunk and killed her mother, then knocked over a candle setting the house on fire. After he staggered out, Kami ran in trying to see if her mother was still alright. Before she could run fully into the house, a rafter fell on her killing her instantly.

Kami found herself in the middle of a new town, with people she didn't know. After standing there dumbstruck for a few moments, she began running as if she could get home somehow. But for hours and hours she ran, before finally passing out in front of an inn at midnight. The next morning she was in one of the inns rooms and the manager sat next to her, he said that he found her outside and was worried so he brought her here. The n he offered her shelter and food in return for hard work, wanting a solid roof over her head again she nodded in agreement.

Years past and Kami grew, becoming something men would stare at and run into walls. She worked hard and dedicated herself to finding her own way in this new world of Serite, her wish would soon come true. One day while running errands, she passed a Shingami and felt his spiritual pressure. It was so great she faultered and fell to her knees. The shinigami ran back over and helped her up, he said that not only had he seen her reaction, but also felt her own spiritual pressure within her own body. He offered her a position at an academy for young shinigami. Kami's heart called out to her, honoring it's cry she accepted. And thus, her path had begun.
