Night Time Training - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Night Time Training   Night Time Training - Page 2 I_icon_minitimeSun Feb 07, 2010 10:10 pm

Tatsuya began to smile as he had once again accomplished mastering another kido. So far he had been able to master Horin, Byakurai, and lastly Tsuzuri Raiden. His zanpaktou was still shaking, trembling with the electricity that was still coursing through it with the last use of Raiden. Pulling back, Tatsuya dragged his blade out of the trees grasp. As he did this the resulting falling bark fell from the tree, catching fire as the crackling of the blade died down. He then flicked his wrist downwards, his blade following and soon finding a resting place in the soft dirt. Tatsuya then walked a ways back to his dusty tome and began to flip through it once more. He had rested for long enough and it he had time to learn at least one more kido. The sun was going down, and it would be expected that students made their way back their dorms. Since he was still injured he figured that he shouldn't work too hard, or risk reopening wounds that had yet to heal. He was already pushing himself to his limits with the learning of all of these kido. Thinking back on it now, he had yet to make his way to any of his other classes throughout the day in the past week. He had only been to his kido class, in which he hated his teacher. The other class he attended was his Hakuda class, and he had actually gotten along with Leeroy. He hadn't been back to these classes at all, and he had yet to attend his Zanjutsu or Hoho class. "Shit...I didn't mean to skip...." The pressures of getting stronger had gotten to him, so much so that he'd forgotten to attend the classes that were supposed to accomplish that very task.

Tatsuya soon shrugged all of this off, there was no use in crying over spilled milk. Though the teachers may have ill feelings towards him because of his now lack luster attendance record, gaining their approval was the least of his concerns. Right now his one and only goal was to accomplish the task handed down to him from, "The Voice". Or at least this was the name that Tatsuya had begun using to refer to whatever it was he conversed with after that brawl against Ryusaki. Tatsuya still had no clue as to what who or what that voice could have been, but sure enough he believed the conversation he held with it to be real. Even if it had had just been a figment of his imagination, or illusion induced by blood loss, the words the voice spoke rang true, and Tatsuya was determined to follow its orders. "I'll become stronger....I'll kill them all...." A disturbing grin spread across his face as he continued to flip through the pages of the kido tome, looking for yet another destructive spell that he could use to cause mayhem upon those who crossed his path.

Time passed as Tatsuya flipped through the almost countless pages of the tome, looking for another kido to learn. After what seemed like forever, his eyes rested on the description of an enticing spell description. "Fires a ball of red energy at a target" is what it stated, and the picture that accompanied it showed exactly what it looked like. An attack like this would come in more than handy. Tatsuya then let his eyes wander downwards on the page, examining the Incantation that followed. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" Tatsuya listened to the incantation as he read it silently. The words that were featured in this incantation alone gave all the proof Tatsuya needed to the destructive force that would befall an opponent unlucky enough to come up against this spell. Tatsuya inspected the incantation for a while more. It was necessary for him to to remember this incantation, no matter how long it was. Tatsuya only wondered if in the middle of battle if he'd be able to actually remember all of this. This thought only fueled his drive to remember this tongue twister of an incantation.

"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium--" Tatsuya took a breathe and then continued on with the incantation, "the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!". Tatsuya nodded, now it was time to say the whole thing. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" Tatsuya then proceeded to hold his wrist, extending his upturned hand outward, pointing it towards the same tree that had been unlucky enough to reside in front of him. Coincidentally, it was the same tree that he had just tested his Tsuzuri Raiden, seems it really wasn't the trees lucky day. Building up reiatsu in his hand, a red orb of energy began to condense. Thrusting the hand forward, and giving it a burst of reiatsu, he shot off the kido. The orb quickly hit the tree, resulting in a small explosion, but it didn't hold up the promise of the destruction the book described. It had barely managed to even break into the trees trunk. "I may need to add more reiatsu into the attack...after all, this was my first time using it..." Tatsuya nodded as he agreed with his own analysis. Tatsuya then once again extended his right arm forwards, grabbing his wrist with his left hand. Once again, he began to exclaim the incantation. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" The red orb began to once again condense in front of his extended hand. Tatsuya then added more reiatsu to the orb then he did the first time, shooting it off in the meantime. The orb flew forwards, this time with increased speed and also increased size. As it hit the tree, a large explosion sounded off. Wood and splinters flew every which way, and flaming debris fell from the sky. Tatsuya covered his face with his forearms until the destruction came to an end. "Hehe, seems I have this kido down now too..." Tatsuya's mouth then slowly openend, a yawn making its way out. "Whew...im worn out....guess I'd better get some sleep..." Tatsuya made his way to his blade and placed it back into his sheathe and through the bush of the forest, back to the shinigami dorms.

Night Time Training - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Night Time Training   Night Time Training - Page 2 I_icon_minitimeTue Mar 30, 2010 7:55 pm

Tatsuya made his way to his secluded training area. He walked for a while longer until he found his small alcove that was very well hidden away. Tatsuya came to a stop and reached into his haori, pulling out the book of kido. As he did this he also placed the kido training dummy down to his right on the ground. Before making his way over to here he had given his old kido instructors class a visit. While the teacher was gone he “borrowed” one of the kido training dummies he had set up in the room. Tatsuya was sure the old man wouldn’t miss it anyway. These kido training dummies were very well set up, able to take some of the strongest kido and still remain standing. Tatsuya would need one of these if he was going to become well versed in the art of kido. He began to feel bad attacking and knocking down all of these trees with his kido. He needed something sturdier to train on. He picked the kido dummy up and set it up a couple of feet in front of him. This would be his new target from now on. After a few minutes of prepping the dummy, Tatsuya made his way back to his kido book. He now needed to find a kido to learn. He began to flip though the pages. After a while of this he decided he’d go down his path of mastering Hado first. He’d be learning Soukatsui today. Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power. Tatsuya liked the sound of this attack.

Tatsuya began to read the incantation for Soukatsui. The first part of it sounded similar to Shakkahou, but it was soon evident that it wasn’t. He started to say the incantation for a bit, trying to get the feel for it. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws." Tatsuya said this a couple of more times until he felt comfortable with its delivery. He had used this method to learn the first couple of kido and it had worked well. He might as well learn the rest of his kido in the same fashion. Thirty minutes passed and Tatsuya now felt it was time to give this kido a try. He read the incantation once more from the book just to be one hundred percent sure he knew everything to do. Once he looked it over he threw the book to the ground and went to work. He placed his hands in the same position as he would have for the shakkahou. Instead of a red orb forming in his palm though a blue orb began to form. The orb itself was slightly larger as well as more powerful then the shakkahou. While the orb was forming Tatsuya went ahead and began to recite the incantation for the kidou. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws." The blue orb grew in size and shot from Tatsuya’s hand. He wasn't expecting the power difference to be as much as it was and he ended up getting knocked back after firing it. The soukatsui also completed missed the target, or it missed the target he was aiming for. Instead of hitting the training dummy it flew past it and crashed into some of the trees of the forest, knocking some of them over while badly damaging other.

Tatsuya began to laugh at this. He couldn’t believe the destructive force that this kido held, or had the potential of unleashing. He’d have to master this thing ASAP. Tatsuya then readied himself for the kido again. He put his hands into the normal position and prepared to fire the soukatsui once more. He dug his legs in a bit trying to get as much stability as he could before trying again. Once he was fully prepared the blue orb began to form in his palm as he recited the incantation. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.” Tatsuya watched as the hado rocketed from his hand. It didn't knock him over like before but the force of the hado was still enough to make him stumble. The hado changed direction but instead of going left this time it went upwards. This time flying up and over the forest into the sky above. It still managed to completely miss the target but he was getting closer every attempt. Tatsuya sighed as this happened. He thought he’d have it for sure with his second attempt, but the force of the kido was what messed up his aim. He’d have to find a way past that. Tatsuya was happy with his progress though. He was getting closer and closer to mastering this kido. Setting his hands up in the normal manner he focused once more on hitting the center of the target. The blue orb began to form again in the palm of his hand as he began to recite the incantation. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.”

The hado shot forward once more and rocketed at the target. It struck hard almost ringing out in the air around from the force of the explosion. The smoke began to slowly clear and he could begin to make out the target. He looked forward and saw the target swinging back into its normal position. He had managed to strike it hard. He had finally gotten over the recoil of the kido, now able to fully aim its trajectory. Tatsuya smiled at this. “Time for the next one…” Tatsuya walked over to his book and took a seat. He began to read through it once more. He was going to move onto the next hado. It was hado #54, Haien. It was much more advanced then any of the other hado that he had learned before and would also be much harder to learn. He studied the book closely taking out as much information as he possibly could from it. After he had studied it to the point that he knew he could effectively perform it he threw the book to the ground and stood. He then lined himself up with the dummy. He then placed his right hand out open palmed towards the target. Tatsuya then took his left hand and grabbed his right wrist to try and keep his composure while practicing. He knew the power behind the attack was going to be intense so he wanted to be ready for it. He dug in to the ground a bit and bent his right elbow for recoil. Purple energy began to charge up in the palm of his hand and was glowing brightly. Tatsuya aimed his hand at the target and then called out the hado.

“Hado #54, Haien!!” The orb in his hand grew exponentially in size and then fired off at the target with great power. It managed to knock Tatsuya backwards. He was not expecting that much power to be behind the attack. It was entirely more then he was used to handling. The hado itself flew up directly into the air. Him falling backwards earlier causing this. Tatsuya shook his head in disappointment at his first attempt and got himself off the ground. He got stepped up and lined himself up once more. He positioned his hands as before and prepared to fire the hado once again. The purple orb slowly formed again in his palm as he prepared to fire off the hado once more. "Hado #54, Haien!!" The hado shot from his hand just as forcefully as before and shot at the target. Tatsuya managed to not fall this time but the force still jerked his arm a bit. The hado shot off to the right and flew into the ground. It landed a couple of feet away from the target and when it impacted, a large explosion sounded off. Tatsuya covered his eyes from the light that was given off. He also tried to shield himself from some of the debris that had resulted. After all was said and done, Tatsuya lowered his hand from his face and marveled at the destruction caused. There was now a large crater in the center of the forest floor. The depth of the hole went down deep, and it seemed that even though the crater went downwards, the angle of the blast kept moving forwards. Directly behind the crater, there were trees that were now uprooted in a straight line. All of them tumbling over. While Tatsuya grinned at this he soon frowned. He’d have to hurry up and master this kido and head out. With all the explosion and fireworks going on over here, this place wouldn’t be so secluded in a little while. He wasn’t supposed to be out and about anyway because of curfew and students weren’t really supposed to be off of campus. Especially when they were skipping a class in order to do so.

"Hado #54, Haien!!" The hado rocketed from his palm and at the target. Tatsuya managed to keep his arm from jerking from the recoil to keep his aim as good as it could be at this point. He watched the hado shoot at the target and strike it hard. A cloud of smoke covered the area after the hado struck hiding the target from sight. Tatsuya waited a bit for the smoke to clear to see where he had struck the target. After the smoke had cleared a bit he saw the target in the same spot that it had been in before. There was a dark spot on the lower right-hand side of the target though. Indicating that the kido had struck the target there. Tatsuya began to smile a bit. He was getting used to the strength of this kido. Ever so slightly circulating his reiatsu to better put this kido to use. He lined himself up with the target. Aiming his hand out at the target. He bolstered himself to prepare for the recoil as the purple orb started to form. Tatsuya then called out the hado and shot the purple orb off at the target. "Hado #54, Haien!!" The haien shot off from his palm and flew at the target. It drew closer and closer by the second and then smashed hard into the target. Once again the explosion from impact caused a cloud of smoke to shoot up covering the target and surrounding area. Tatsuya waited a bit for the smoke to clear while he tried to see the target. The smoke started to clear up revealing to him the target just returning to its sitting position. He had managed to strike the target much better then the last time, to the point that he was able to hit its bulls eye. Tatsuya smiled at this and then wiped his brow. He had begun to work up a sweat. “Time to get out of here...” Tatsuya had done better than he assumed he would today. Learning two strong hado. But it was time for him to go, he had to get out of here. It was only a matter of time before the area got swarmed in people curious about what was going on. Then they’d see the damage and someone would have to be liable for it. Tatsuya wasn’t planning on being the one to catch that blame so he'd have to hurry up and relocate. Picking up his kido book started to head towards his dorm.

Night Time Training - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Night Time Training   Night Time Training - Page 2 I_icon_minitimeSun Apr 04, 2010 9:38 pm

Tatsuya slyly snuck his way back into the secluded part of the woods. There were still people who were curious about what had been happening, but the curiosity had died down as fast as it had risen. People had all gone back to their rooms, and all the shinigami sent out had made their way back to their barracks in Sereitei. Tatsuya went to the middle of his training grounds and took a seat, pulling out his book of kido. It was getting late about now, but Tatsuya still had some energy. His time with Jaxon yesterday had really perked him up. He blushed a bit at this and then got back to his book. His goal was to master all the destructive spells that he could. He felt they matched him better than the binding spells. While he read, he began to to truly think about this ideaology. He was playing right into his zanpaktou spirits hands by thinking this way. He couldn't believe that the first thing that he thought about himself was destruction. If he wanted to become a better person, his own opinion of himself had to change first. Tatsuya smiled at this realization and closed the hado section of the book. He learned all the "destruction" he needed to know for today. Now it was time to learn some more Bakudo. Tatsuya knew he was adept in its uses because of his use with the Bakudo, Horin. Horin had come in handy for him on more than a few occasions than any hado had. If this was true, more than likely other Bakudo would help him in the same fashion. Tatsuya began to flip through each page of the Bakudo section.

Tatsuya began to read through each kido one by one. Each one pretty much did the same thing. Bind. It was hard to pick just one. Though, with the ego that any person would have, he wanted to start off with the strongest kido there was. But from his experience with the backlash of Hado, he wasn't too sure making that decision would be the safest one. Tatsuya continued to flip through the pages until his eyes rested upon one. “Shitotsu Sansen?” He began to read through the description of the kido spell and began to grin. The user forms a golden triangle with one's finger; it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle. Tatsuya began to recite more and more of the incantation before he felt he had enough of it down to move on. “Ok then, time to get started.” Tatsuya slowly stood, dusting himself off. He then faced the training dummy that he had left in the forest. He started to concentrate his reiatsu. Tatsuya aimed his right hand out at the dummy and then placed his left hand behind his right. In the palm of his hand the triangle began to form. Once it was fully formed the three pillars formed and it shot forward at the dummy. "Bakudo #30, Shitotsu Sansen!!" The pillars pinned the dummy's arms and midsection just as it had done before. The pillars only held the dummy in place for a few seconds before it dissipated though. The dummy then returned to its regular position. Tatsuya repeated the same hand positions as before and prepared to use the bakudo. The triangle began to form until it had fully formed itself in front of his hand. "Bakudo #30, Shitotsu Sansen!!"

The triangle and pillars shot forward and slammed hard into the dummy pinning it back into a nearby tree. This time the pillars held the dummy in place much longer then it had before. He counted to see how long the pillars lasted before the pillars loosened their grip and then dissipated releasing the bakudo. Tatsuya aimed his hand out once more towards the dummy and prepared to fire the triangle and pillars again. Once the triangle had formed and the pillars appeared on the tips of them Tatsuya aimed and prepared to fire it off. "Bakudo #30, Shitotsu Sansen!!" The triangle shot forward at the dummy and pinned it up against the tree once more. Tatsuya held the bakudo in place for as long as he could focusing his mind of keeping it in place. The bakudo held strong keeping the dummy pinned back against the tree for more then two minutes as he was counting the seconds. Eventually the pillars started to give way again and Tatsuya stopped counting to try and focus more. Once he had the entirety of his focus on the pillars they strengthened themselves again and held the dummy back up against the tree. Tatsuya ended up getting tired and just ended up releasing the bakudo. He smiled as he did this though. He had gotten this Bakudo down pact. Tatsuya sighed an picked up his book, putting it inside of his haori. “Welp, this is done. Time to get some rest…” Tatsuya started to make his way back to his dorm, slightly glad that this bakudo really didn’t cause that much commotion.
